ABOUT US

Monique Owe

Greetings,
I am Monique Owe (O’way). I am a Licensed Clinician aka Therapist. I have been in the Mental Health Field going on 18 years!

I am a proud graduate of a HBCU – Clark Atlanta University which is located in Atlanta, Ga. There I earned my Undergraduate degree in Psychology (BA). I then went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Kean University in New Jersey. I became Licensed to Practice therapy independently in 2011 in the state of New Jersey. I then transitioned and became licensed in the State of Georgia in 2013.

I am all about helping/healing. I believe if you’re not healed. You not only do damage to self but to those around you. Which causes you to miss out on the many wonders of life. I believe change is possible if you want it and believe it. We all just need some guidance at times. Over the years, I have helped 100s of individuals with their Emotional/Mental health. I have mentored people in the Mental Health Clinical field. Helping them get their degree or Clinical license.

In 2016, I started my Private Practice which is called Healing Expressions LLC and now in 2022 The Healing Podcast. My motto for Healing Expressions LLC is “ Express It…Believe It…Achieve It”. My Motto for The Healing Podcast is “Stop the Bleed”. I am a person that listens to what you are saying but also to what you are not saying. For me it’s all about Healing so you can be the best you.

My Hobbies are:
